The Desktop Pet is not visible
Symptom
You expect the Desktop Pet on your desktop and it is not there.
Cause
The usual reasons:
- The sign-in screen is up. The pet is gone then, and nothing brings it back until you sign in.
- The pet is hidden or switched off.
- Its position is off the screen you use. Reset position brings it back.
- Keep above other windows is off, so other windows can cover it.
Solution
- Sign in if DevHub shows the sign-in screen.
- Open the Desktop Pet screen and click Show pet. Check that Enable desktop pet is on.
- Turn on Keep above other windows.
- Under Window, choose the display and click Reset position.
