Requirements
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- A Mac. DevHub runs on macOS, on Apple Silicon and on Intel. There is one installer for each.
- A Vartari ID with access to DevHub. DevHub is in alpha. When access is granted to your account, you get an e-mail with the installer link.
- git. Plans, step trees and repository checks use it. If git is missing, DevHub shows the banner “Git is not available” with Install Git and Check again, and the Dashboard lists it under “Needs attention”. The rest of DevHub keeps working.
- An internet connection for signing in. After that DevHub can work offline for a limited time. See Sign in.
- An AI client, if you want agents to use DevHub: Claude Code, Codex, Copilot or OpenCode. DevHub itself starts without one, and you can connect a client later.
