Glossary

Agent. A persona made runnable: the client, the repository and the Agent Intelligence it works with. You call it on demand. The Vartari Agents screen lists them.

Agent Intelligence. What agents were told and what they concluded from repeated failures. Nothing from it reaches an agent until you update the skills.

AI Context. The queue of notes, symbols and overviews that an agent pulls in one call. See AI Context.

Business Context. Search across the notes of your vaults, in one scope. See Business Context.

Client. An AI program that connects to DevHub, such as Claude Code, Codex, Copilot or OpenCode. DevHub’s screens call it a harness.

Command. A procedure called by name, by you or by an agent.

Dashboard. The first screen. See Dashboard.

Desktop Pet. A character on your desktop that says what agents are doing.

Harness. An agent client on this computer. Harnesses List shows them; Harnesses Manage sets a folder up for one.

Library. Skills, commands, personas, rules and instructions. It is shared by all organizations.

MCP. Model Context Protocol, the way a client calls DevHub’s tools. See MCP server.

MCP folder. A folder on your disk that belongs to a project and that agents may open.

Organization. A business or ownership context that holds projects and vaults.

Persona. A role an agent can be built from: how to work. The tools it gets are worked out when the agent is built.

Plan. Work for agents, on a board, divided into steps. A step can be held by one agent at a time.

Project. One repository you work on. It belongs to an organization.

Repository Index. The symbols and relations DevHub reads from the code of an MCP folder.

Rule. A document the client attaches on its own when it works on matching files.

Skill. What an agent can be given to know about how to work.

Vartari Hub. The screen that says which model does which job.

Vartari ID. The account you sign in with.

Vault. A folder of Markdown notes for an organization or a repository. See Vaults.

Vault Viewer. The window in which you read and edit a vault. See Vault Viewer.

Workspace profile. Everything DevHub keeps on this computer for one account: folders, vaults, agents, library, plans and settings.
